Human Resources cautions against holiday travel

To align with CDC recommendations, faculty and staff should consider canceling or postponing travel over the winter break and avoid gatherings with those outside of their immediate household. 

If travel is unavoidable, employees should notify their supervisor and work with their departmental COVID-19 liaison to develop a plan for returning to work on campus. To safeguard campus health, employees may be asked to self-quarantine and/or test for COVID-19, consistent with university policy and CDC recommendations.
