The Harbert College of Business remains a top choice for aspiring MBA students seeking either an online or full-time program, based on rankings released this week by The Princeton Review.

The Auburn online MBA ranks No. 24 among the Top Online MBA Programs for 2021, while the strength of the full-time MBA puts Harbert on the list of Best Business Schools for 2021. This is the fifth consecutive year Harbert's online MBA program has ranked in the Top 25 and the third consecutive year Harbert has received best business school honors.

“Students in both our online and full-time MBA programs consistently give high marks to their academic experience and faculty engagement," said Stan Harris, Associate Dean for Graduate and International Programs at Harbert. “Across all our MBA programs, we work to ensure students experience a dynamic learning environment where the conversations are engaging and the lessons are immediately applicable.”

Rankings of online and full-time MBA programs were released this week as part of The Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools for 2021 project. Student surveys and administrative data—covering topics from academic offerings and admission requirements to data about enrolled students and graduates' employment—are used to assess and rank both the online and on-campus MBA programs. As a result, The Princeton Review recommends Harbert’s MBA programs based on strong academics and level of interaction between faculty and students.

Survey results are published in profiles of the schools' online and full-time programs and include a sample of comments from student surveys.

“Auburn’s online program is second to none,” said one online MBA survey respondent. “The administration and professors make it extremely easy to be an online student and still feel connected.”

Last month, Poets & Quants, a nationally recognized online resource for graduate business education, ranked the Auburn Online MBA No. 8 on it list of Best Online MBA Programs of 2021, marking the fourth consecutive year the program finished among the Top 10. The program also placed No. 18 on the list of Best Online MBA Programs by U.S. News & World Report.

“Providing program choices that fit the needs of aspiring MBA students means constantly evaluating every aspect of program delivery to ensure that we provide an outstanding student experience,” said Jim Parrish, Executive Director of Full-Time and Online Graduate Business Programs. “Students want to come to Auburn because they know that they will earn a highly-valued degree at a competitive price point. Our challenge is ensuring that we continue to deliver a quality MBA experience that is accessible regardless of where the students are in their professional lives or how they wish to pursue the degree.”
