Dozens of biomedical sciences students gain acceptance into health professions programs

A total of 77 students who majored in biomedical sciences and participated in the College of Sciences and Mathematics, or COSAM, Pre-Professional Advisory Committee, or PPAC, program were accepted into professional schools during the 2020 application cycle, according to COSAM Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Robert Boyd.

Of those, 62 were accepted into medical schools, 11 were pre-dental concentration and four were pre-optometry. COSAM’s proven path has helped thousands of students prepare for a variety of professional school programs over the years.
