Auburn University recently published “Return to Campus” guidance for all employees and staff to return to campus by Nov. 30. Within that guidance, it stated that the university would continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on our community and reassess directives as deemed necessary should new developments arise.

Based on the current COVID-19 trends we are seeing locally, nationally and globally, the university has decided to rescind the Nov. 30 “Return to Campus” guidance and extend the current operations model through Jan. 3, 2021. We will continue to monitor the pandemic as we enter into the holiday season and will provide additional guidance for the first of the year at an appropriate time.

As always, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff remain the university’s top priority. We recognize and appreciate the patience, flexibility and ingenuity of you, the Auburn Family, as we continue to navigate these difficult, uncharted waters together.
