University Writing hosting workshop on oral communication for research on Sept. 23

University Writing is inviting students, faculty and staff to attend its Oral Communication for Research workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from  2-3:30 p.m. via Zoom. A limited number of in-person seats will also be available. Participants who attend the workshops in person will be required to follow established health and safety guidelines.
 
This workshop will include suggestions on adapting written research for an oral presentation as well as strategies for communicating your research through an effective oral presentation. During the session, participants will learn to identify and apply best practices by working in groups to critique sample presentations.
