The Office of Professional and Continuing Education is open for Digital Web Design, an online certificate program intended for individuals interested in beginning a career as a professional web designer or developer.

From design concept to webpage creation, this hands-on, three-course program gives participants the necessary tools for success in webpage creation including an understanding of coding languages, scripting, web design concepts, color and typography and best business practices.

Students will use Adobe Dreamweaver while building foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS, learn the basics of JavaScript and other essential web technologies and use the Bootstrap framework to create a responsive design.

In order to earn the certificate, students must successfully complete each of the three courses: Learning HTML and CSS with Adobe Dreamweaver, JavaScript Essentials, Putting it All Together with Bootstrap and Adobe Dreamweaver. No prior coding or web design experience is needed; however, it is recommended that those individuals seeking their certificate take the courses in order.

The Office of Professional and Continuing Education is proud to offer this program as part of its expanding catalog of online learning and certificate programs, helping individuals acquire high-demand skills and remain competitive in today’s remote work setting.
