Auburn Panhellenic has record-breaking recruitment

Auburn Panhellenic and Auburn Greek Life has announced a record 1,702 women registered and another record 1,687 women participated in at least one round of Auburn Panhellenic recruitment this year. Recruitment ended Saturday as Panhellenic’s 18 sororities extended bids to new members.
 
Here are a few other notable numbers from this year’s recruitment, which ended with Bid Day:

  • Quota for this year is 80, and all 18 Panhellenic chapters made quota.
  • A record 1,539 women will receive bids. (The match rate, 91 percent, is another record).
  • This year Auburn Panhellenic began a partnership with EAGLES (Education to Accomplish Growth in Life Experiences for Success), a program for students with intellectual disabilities out of the College of Education. EAGLES has six women in their program and all six women participated in and were placed in six different Panhellenic chapters.
  • The chapter with the most new members will have 108 women, and the smallest will have 80.
