Introduction to Copyright and Fair Use resource available in Canvas

The Office of University Writing and Auburn University Libraries have partnered to create an online resource which educates undergraduate or graduate students on the fundamental concepts related to copyright and fair use and can be delivered asynchronously or as a guided lesson.

There are several parts to this new resource: an introductory handout, video resources, an infographic, a short quiz and an analysis activity. Together, these pieces help students define terms like copyright, fair use, licensing and plagiarism; analyze situations to practice applying their knowledge of copyright and fair use; and determine if resources are protected by copyright.
