Auburn Serves and GEDI presenting free webinar to recruit and engage volunteers

Volunteers are an essential component for any successful non-profit organization. Join AuburnServes and the Government and Economic Development Institute for a free webinar, Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement Webinar, to discuss best practices for recruiting and engaging volunteers. The webinar will also address recruiting volunteers during the current COVID-19 crisis. The session will be held Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 11 a.m.-noon. The training is free and open to the public.

The session is being taught by Jennifer Ryan, communications manager for the Government and Economic Development Institute. Ryan previously served as the executive director and CEO of the American Red Cross, East Alabama Chapter, for 12 years and has extensive experience in recruiting, retaining, engaging and empowering volunteers.
