This July and August, Campus Safety and Security will be offering Employee Emergency Preparedness and Active Shooter Response Training courses via Zoom. Online training begins July 31, with Employee Emergency Preparedness (EM301) and Active Shooter Response Training (EM303).

Knowing what to do in an emergency could help save a life. Employee Emergency Preparedness training provides an overview of Auburn's emergency guidelines and notification system, expectations of faculty and staff during an emergency, safety devices on campus and general campus safety information. It provides a basic understanding of how to respond to emergencies on Auburn's campus. Active Shooter Response Training provides attendees with a range of options including avoiding the threat, lockdown/barricade to deny access and defending yourself if face-to-face with an aggressor.
