Auburn was one of two universities to receive the 2020 National Marketer of the Year award from the College Licensing Company, or CLC. The CLC is the nation’s leading collegiate licensing company that presents awards to 12 of its higher education partner institutions annually.

The National Marketer of the Year award is given to universities that have shown a strong commitment to the CLC’s national platforms, such as College Colors Day, Holiday Cheer, Rock Your Colors or Tailgate. Auburn excelled past nearly 200 other collegiate institutions to be a co-winner of this award.

“We are proud to partner with most of the top collegiate brands in the country, and they all work hard to grow their licensing programs and achieve university goals,” said Cory Z. Moss, CLC’s EVP and managing director. “Our annual awards program gives us the opportunity to recognize those institutions that go above and beyond in elevating college brands, both on their respective campuses and the retail marketplace.”
