In response to the situation involving the outbreak of COVID-19, the Auburn University Bookstore is implementing changes to its textbook rental program and buyback program for the spring 2020 semester. For textbook rentals, each student who rented books has received a pre-paid Fed Ex label via email to use to return their books to the Auburn University Bookstore. Rental textbooks should be returned regardless of condition by June 30. If a student chooses to keep a rented textbook, all non-return fees will be waived and the student’s e-bill will be charged only for the difference of the initial rental fee and the price of the textbook.

For textbook buyback, the Auburn University Bookstore has partnered with ValoreBooks for a stress-free virtual buyback experience. Students will submit the ISBN number for each of their textbooks and will be presented with a quote with the buyback value of each textbook. If the student accepts the quote, textbooks can be shipped to ValoreBooks free of charge. Payment will be sent to the student via check or PayPal within 14 days after books are received. Students can visit https://aubookstore.valorebooks.com/ to obtain a quote.
