When any major disruption or change to daily life occurs, it doesn’t take long for bad actors to catch up. With the recent increase of people telecommuting, Zoom has become a target platform for individuals to abuse. You may have seen news reports recently discussing Zoom-bombing, which is when uninvited meeting guests share screens, audio or chat messages that are often inappropriate or graphic.

In an effort to assist all the faculty, staff and students who are diligently tackling the challenge of telecommuting and distance learning, the Office of Information Technology has assembled a series of tips and suggested practices that can help secure your Zoom meetings and keep you from falling victim to these issues.
