Department of History hosting online family hygiene and baby food drive

The Department of History’s annual initiative to solicit and collect donations of feminine hygiene products, diapers and baby food was recently featured in the Opelika-Auburn News.

While students, faculty and staff are sequestered to their personal residences to prevent the spread of COVID-19, donations are still being encouraged through the Amazon Wish List, which may be accessed here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/10IYSZ9B4IKMF?ref_=wl_share.

Items purchased from the list will be shipped directly to the department where it will be collected and sorted by representatives of the Food Bank of East Alabama. Items collected during this initiative, which runs through April 15, will be distributed to needy families in Lee County.
