Integrating research workshop on March 6

Jocelyn Evans from University of West Florida and Sara Evans from Kennesaw State University will be visiting Auburn to provide a workshop to faculty interested in incorporating undergraduate research directly into their courses. Hosted by the Honors College, the purpose of this workshop will be to help faculty find innovative ways to use their regular course load to make progress toward their long-term research goals, tenure and promotion while benefitting student learning outcomes by embedding research into teaching. The event will be held on March 6 from 1-3 p.m. in 3035 Ralph Brown Draughon Library. Over the past five years, Jocelyn Evans and Sara Evans have had success with several multi-disciplinary research programs that all heavily utilize undergraduate research within the classroom.
