Select orchestra seats for RENT performance at Gogue Performing Arts Center available for $20

The Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University, or Gogue Center, is offering select seats in the first rows of the orchestra section of the Woltosz Theatre for $20 for both performances of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical. The $20 tickets will be available for in-person purchase at the Gogue Center box office located at 910 South College St. These tickets will be available on the day of each performance only, two hours prior to the show. The $20 tickets are limited to two tickets per person.  

The tradition of these day-of lottery tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown Manhattan theatre. The producers of RENT remain committed to continuing the tradition of offering these orchestra seats in each city the show is performed. 

The Gogue Center will present RENT on Feb. 18 and 19 as part of its 2019–20 inaugural season Broadway series. Performance times are at 7:30 p.m. for both dates.

The Gogue Center box office will open for lottery ticket sales on both performance dates beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be purchased in person.
