Department of Philosophy and Department of Art hosting mini-conference March 4

The Department of Philosophy will host “From the Street to the Court: Rethinking Street Art,” a Mini-Conference at the Intersection of Philosophy, Art and Law, on March 4 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Pebble Hill.

The focus of the mini-conference will be on questions related to street art, public art and art and law at the intersection of philosophy, art and law. It is inspired by the work of Esteban del Valle, who is the College of Liberal Arts 2020 Breeden Scholar, and the keynote speaker at the mini-conference.

The event is a collaboration between the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Art and will include the following speakers:
