Auburn University Dance Marathon set for Feb. 15

Auburn University Dance Marathon, or AUDM, is hosting its ninth annual event that will be held in the Student Center ballroom on Feb. 15 from 10 a.m.-12 a.m. This event will benefit Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, the closest Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

The registration fee for the event is $25 and covers the cost of a T-shirt and three meals. Participants will have access to all activities and events during the 14-hour event, including a silent disco, a Super Smash Bros. tournament, a cornhole tournament, a photo booth, a ball pit, live music, family and patient testimonies and much more.

AUDM is an entirely student-run organization. In eight years, Auburn students have raised a total of $2,642,421.15 for the nearest Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The year-long efforts to fundraise for the kids culminate at a main event. At the end of the night, the fundraising total will be revealed. At last year’s main event, AUDM flipped a total of $502,195.08.
