Auburn Lyft Late Night Smart Ride Program begins this week

Auburn University Transportation Services has partnered with Lyft to provide students a new resource for safe rides home during the nighttime hours when class is in session. The Auburn Lyft Late Night Smart Ride Program will begin in January and offer currently enrolled students up to a $10 discount on rides from within the university-designated service areas.

The Student Center Tiger Transit station (Heisman Circle) pick-up location will operate Monday through Friday from 8-10 p.m. The second pick-up location between South Gay St. and Wilmore Dr. (Toomer’s Corner) will be in effect Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. The service will end at 3 a.m. on Sunday.

All currently enrolled students will soon receive an email from Lyft requesting verification of their TigerMail account in addition to details about the Auburn Lyft Late Night Smart Ride Program. This initial email invitation will also include information on how to activate your student account to receive the discount.
