Students involved with Alternative Student Breaks, or ASB, will take part in service projects at seven different sites across the U.S. and Costa Rica during winter break. ASB is a student-led service program of Student Involvement which allows students to spend holiday and semester breaks serving communities in a variety of ways.

This year’s winter break sites include:

  • Give Kids the World (Children’s Healthcare) in Kissimmee, Florida

  • Greenville Free Medical Clinic (Healthcare) in Greenville, South Carolina

  • Big Cat Rescue (Animal Welfare) in Tampa, Florida

  • Kentucky Equine Adoption Center (Animal Welfare) in Lexington, Kentucky

  • Saint Bernard Project (Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding) in Houston, Texas

  • D.C. Central Kitchen and A Wider Circle (Hunger and Urban Poverty) in Washington, D.C

  • FIMRC: Project Alajuelita (International Healthcare) in San Jose, Costa Rica
