Auburn University Libraries’ Campus Delivery Service has set a new record for pieces delivery in a month. Coming off the 2018 holiday break, the courier service delivered 932 pieces in the month of January. This beats the previous highest monthly total by 74 pieces and tops the January 2018 total by 160 pieces.

“We’re very proud of the work our Campus Delivery Service is doing,” said JP Pendleton, head of circulation at Auburn University Libraries. “The fact that our delivered-items numbers keep going up reflects the great trust that Auburn’s researchers have placed in us to get them the materials they need to complete their work.”

In 2018 the Campus Delivery Service delivered a total of 7,610 books and other research materials to faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students. Each year the number of items delivered has grown, allowing researchers to get the materials they need in a convenient and timely manner.

Materials may be delivered directly to the offices of faculty, staff and graduate students. Undergraduate students may request that materials be delivered to any of the three libraries that make up the Auburn University Libraries.

Library users may request materials deliveries from the Libraries’ Campus Delivery Service online.
