Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program applications open for 2018-2019

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in more than 125 countries for the 2018-2019 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.

While traditional Fulbright programs for faculty emphasized extended stays abroad, the Fulbright Flex program allows for multiple shorter stays and can be an excellent option for faculty with other time constraints.

Information about the Fulbright program can be found online. The deadline for applications is Aug. 1. Andrew Gillespie, assistant provost for international programs, is available to assist interested faculty with applications and can be reached at arg0014@auburn.edu.
