The Toomer's Corner Oaks Task Force is comprised of experts in forestry, agriculture, landscaping and horticulture, and has been the central team working to save the trees since rumors that the oaks had been poisoned were first heard.
There are many faculty and other outside sources who have expertise in plants, soils, shrubs, trees and pesticides. Their personal opinions may vary from the Toomer's Corner Oaks Task Force. The leader of this group, who represents all members and who the university administration officially relies upon for determining the next steps, is Gary Keever.
