• A message from Nancy Young Fortner, Auburn Alumni Association president:
  
  
  • The Auburn Alumni Association sends words of encouragement and support to the people of Haiti as they struggle to cope with the catastrophic earthquakes that struck recently near Port-au-Prince. On behalf of your alumni association, I encourage Auburn University alumni and local Auburn clubs to support Haitian aid efforts by nonprofit agencies such as the American Red Cross. Our Auburn Creed states: "I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all." Auburn people have proven to be very generous in helping others. Let's keep in our thoughts those in need.
