William I. Sauser, Jr. is in his 37th year at Auburn University. He is licensed to practice psychology in Alabama and holds specialty diplomas in industrial/organizational psychology and organizational and business consulting psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. Sauser's interests include organizational development, strategic planning, human relations in the workplace, business ethics, and continuing professional education. He is a fellow of the American Council on Education and the Society for Advancement of Management, a former president of the Alabama Psychological Association and the Society for Advancement of Management, and a former chair of the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology. He has published extensively in the fields of psychology, management, business ethics, and higher education leadership, and serves on the editorial board of the SAM Advanced Management Journal. Sauser is a commissioned ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church, USA, and serves as pastor of the Union Springs Presbyterian Church. He is married to Lane Davis Sauser.
